Easy fig tart
- 16 fresh figs
- 1 sweet shortcrust pastry sheet
- 1 egg
- 100 gr of almond powder
- 100 gr of icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 100 gr of salted butter
- ½ lemon
- Grated almonds
Pre-heat your oven at 180 °C, fan setting.
Take all of your ingredients out of the fridge in order to get them to room temperature.
In a big bowl blend the egg, almond powder, icing sugar, the butter with a wooden spoon.
Slice up your figs. Lay the sweet shortcrust pastry sheet into a tarte mould. Pour the mixture of almond cream into your crust and dispose the figs equally over your tart.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the icing by heating the honey and the lemon juice. When it gets at the boiling point take it of the fire immediately.
Ice the tart with a brush when you take it out of the oven.
Enjoy your fig tart lukewarm or cold.
